Reyna Day was born into a family of musicians in Los Angeles, California. Of Mexican and Italian descent, she recorded her first song at just five years old in her father’s studio, spending much of her childhood around recording studios and film sets.

Growing up in a difficult area of Los Angeles, Reyna faced abuse as a child and eventually became involved in gang life and drugs. At just 16 years old, she faced prison time, a turning point in her life.

While incarcerated, Reyna gave her life to Jesus. In what she describes as a miracle, her charges were reduced and she was released into a youth facility until adulthood.

Soon after, becoming a mother gave her a new determination to rebuild her life and pursue God’s purpose.

Today, her story stands as a powerful testimony of redemption, faith, and the life-changing power of God.

Reyna’s early exposure to the entertainment industry led her to work behind the scenes in major Hollywood recording studios as a music engineer and intern, collaborating on projects connected to artists such as Kanye West, Mariah Carey, Mary J. Blige, Pharrell, Heavy D, and The Outlaws.

Despite the opportunities in secular entertainment, Reyna felt called to use her gifts to glorify God through music and media.

In 2008, she stepped away from a prestigious studio position and launched the vision God placed on her heart: KING FM Radio, becoming the founder and host of the first Los Angeles–based Christian Hip Hop, Pop, and talk radio show.

Reyna later spent three years on 99.5 FM KKLA, the largest Christian radio station in the nation. After taking time to grow her family, she returned to broadcasting in 2014 with the K-WAVE Radio Network, reaching audiences across:

• Los Angeles / Orange County – 107.9 FM
• San Diego – 96.9 FM
• Las Vegas – 98.1 FM

Today, with over 17 years in radio, Reyna continues to impact audiences through broadcasting, music, and media.

Reyna Day is currently the host and producer of the Daylight Morning Show, reaching more than 200,000 listeners on SiriusXM Holy Culture Radio.

She is also the Founder of DayLight Inc. Ministries, through which she travels nationally and internationally sharing her powerful testimony at conferences, churches, concerts, and special events.

Beyond radio and speaking, Reyna continues expanding her creative influence as a DJ, recording artist, actress, and faith-

based film producer, using music, media, and storytelling to inspire transformation.
